L22A Series Alternated Anti Vandal Switch
The L22A Series offers a robust and durable feature that comes in a bushing diameter of 22 millimeters and a flat actuator. It has a panel thickness of about 1 to 10 millimeters when designed with momentary function, and about 1 to 12 millimeters when made specifically with latching function.
Technically, the L22A Series is built with either a screw terminal or solder lug. Its solder lug measures around 2.8 millimeters by 0.5 millimeters which adds up to its body height of approximately 33 millimeters.
The L22A Series is designed to carry a maximum switch rating of 5A/250VAC. When it comes to its resistance to current flow, this series features a maximum of fifty milliohms of contact resistance and a maximum of one thousand milliohms insulation resistance, which can be helpful in knowing how effective its dielectric strength, which is around 2000VAC, can resist the flow of electrical current.
Almost all of Langir’s anti-vandal switches feature a robust and durable body, as mentioned earlier. If we talk about the L22A Series material composition, we can start with its head which is made of high-quality stainless steel. Its body is also made from the same material, while its base is made from PA. Polyamide, or PA, in short, is more commonly known as nylon. This material adds up to the durability and flexibility of the L22A Series. Additionally, a silver alloy is what makes its contact material.
It’s not a surprise that the L22A Series has both the IP65 and IK10 protection. These levels of protection make the L22A Series resistant to damage that might be caused by penetration of foreign and solid objects especially dust and water. Physically, the L22A Series will perform best even when placed in an area where public heavy use is expected—a public ticket dispenser, for example. Its IK10 rating makes it impact-proof, that is to say, external mechanical forces even when done intentionally will not do any harm to this series. The only exemption applies to impacts beyond 20 joules.
When it comes to customization, the L22A Series does not fall behind other anti-vandal switches. Its actuator can be customized with graphical markings which can be laser-etched. You also have the option to customize it with dot illumination or ring illumination, or with Langir’s newest backlit label kit. The backlit label kit comes with five icon labels.
Of course, if you opt for an illuminated switch, your next move is to choose the LED color. Your options include white, yellow, orange, red, blue, and green—all with an approximate lifetime of forty thousand hours. Red, orange, and yellow have a base voltage of 1.8V at 20mA, while green, blue, and white are at 2.8V at 20mA. These base voltages can still be increased depending on your need. The illumination voltage options for the L22A Series start at 3.3 volts up to 220 volts.
Other details about the L22A Series which you might find helpful are presented in detail under the catalog section.
