- Avoid putting them in direct sunlight – The harmful UV rays can affect the appearance of the normally open push button switch such as fading in color and the internal contacts may no longer work too due to prolonged heat exposure.
- Store them properly to prolong their shelf life – If you have a set of switches that are not going to be used yet, you can place them back inside their original box or any other box, then in a dry and cool area.
